God has given us the light of His Word, not to be hidden under a bushel, but to be diffused that it may shine forth to the world. Christ, the living Word, was the light of the world, and He has left us His word, that we may also become lights for others
Ellen G. White, In Heavenly Places
Have you ever wondered if it’s appropriate to write a book review while still reading the book? Oh well, allow me to share with you my thoughts on a book I’m currently reading. I stumbled upon this book after coming across a quote from it and decided to do some further research. To my delight, I discovered that it’s a year-long devotional written by a very inspiring author, Ellen G White. (Yes guys: did you know she wrote a whole 366-day devotional?)
What I love about this book is that each day’s devotion starts with a Bible verse that relates to the sharing. The devotions are the perfect length - not too long and not too short - just enough to capture your attention without overwhelming your mind. Each sharing is a beautiful blend of solemnity, divine inspiration, encouragement, and exhortation. It’s rare to find a book that can encompass all of these elements so seamlessly.
Overall, I strongly recommend this book to anyone seeking daily inspiration and encouragement. The wisdom and insight contained within its pages are truly invaluable and have the potential to positively impact your life in profound ways. Whether you’re religious or not, this book is a must-read for anyone looking to cultivate a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in their life. So, don’t hesitate to give it a read and experience the transformative power of its message for yourself!
If I could recommend just one book to everyone, it would have to be this one. Click this link to the pdf version of the book if you’re interested in checking it out for yourself.
